Reviews

“It was a pleasant experience for all of us. We are 14 family members, and it was our first time in Windsor. Kip walked us around. He is very knowledgeable and knows the area well. Because of the tour, we learned a lot about Windsor's history, especially Eton College. He is very passionate about what he is doing making sure we get the history. Kip is accommodating and gives us some insights about where to go to museums if we want to explore further. It was raining hard that day, so we did not go further exploring after the tour. I highly recommend Kip to anyone who wants a walking tour of Windsor. To Kip, all the best to you.”

  • Approximate Tour length: 2 miles some walking up gentle slopes.

  • The Castle is on top of a hill and the walk between the station and Eton probably a mile can be uphill and tiring, please bear that in mind. Check the train stations for stair/lifts in service.

  • Pubs are good, especially round the castle but they will be busy. Chains like Honest Burger, The Ivy, Cote Brasserie,  my choice would be Cote Brasserie on Windsor Bridge, it does get busy but gives you views of the water and castle and is reasonable prices, 20 pound set menu, 18 pounds a main course etc. Booking advisable.
